Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Sports Academy: Celebrating Emirati Women's Day in August 2023

Sheikha Fatima Bint Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Sports Academy, and President of the Abu Dhabi and Al Ain Ladies Clubs, conveyed a message of pride about the slogan "We Collaborate for Tomorrow," which was launched on the occasion of Emirati Women's Day.
Sheikha Fatima Bint Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan stated, "Today, we celebrate the great Emirati women who have become role models of determination. This year's celebration comes under the theme 'We collaborate for tomorrow,' in line with the directives of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation "Mother of the Nation". We all have confidence in Emirati women and their ability to achieve much, leaving a positive impact on society and the world as a whole. They play a role in building the bright future of the nation. We will continue to take pride in them, their accomplishments, and their rich cultural heritage. Through this heritage, they have demonstrated their creativity and skills in various fields while remaining committed to Emirati values and traditions.
On the occasion of Emirati Women's Day, FBMA actively participated in the distinctive "Abu Dhabi Summer Sports 2023" event held at ADNEC under the slogan "We Collaborate for Tomorrow." In collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Sports Council and Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, events were organized to promote an empowering environment for Emirati women in all fields and sectors. These events included a diverse range of sports activities and interactive experiences. This participation reflects the academy's commitment to enhancing the role of Emirati women and emphasizing its efforts to empower and encourage them to achieve their accomplishments.
In addition to its ongoing efforts to promote women's sports, the Academy has organized a range of inspiring initiatives and events that contribute to enhancing the role of Emirati women in various domains. These initiatives are part of its vision to provide platforms for women to exchange experiences and expertise, with the aim of empowering and motivating them to achieve their goals. Among these initiatives, important panel discussions were organized on the occasion of Emirati Women's Day, in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre and Abu Dhabi Cricket & Sports Hub. Athletes from the Academy participated in enthusiastic discussions about their success stories and the challenges they overcome throughout their sports journeys. These discussions provide valuable lessons about excellence, challenges, and determination for women. Furthermore, the Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Sports Academy participated in an event organized by the Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination by showcasing Emirati women's achievements in the field of sports.
