2018 FBMA Run

Abu Dhabi, UAE, 30th April 2018 , The Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Sports Academy organized the 3rd FBMA run for ladies at the iconic Abu Dhabi Cricket Club in Khalifa City A.  This event has been growing year after year and has become a constant in the FBMA annual agenda.

The annual race offers an environment and distances that allow ladies of all ages and capabilities to take part; 112 ladies ran in four categories in the distance of 2.5K and 5K under the beautiful Abu Dhabi night’s sky.

Leading the under 13 category and first place holder is Zuzana Klimentova finishing the race in 11:27 and from the age group of 13-17 Georgina Keen completed the race at 15:50 as for the 18-39 age group in the 2.5K Lydia Stalin was in the lead  at 10:40  and Clare Mccabe came in first at 11:00.

The 5K category was a longer distance and a tougher challenge but the ladies came is strong with impressive timings, in the 13-17 division  Rafielle Barrack came in first with 24:23 and Anna Hick the fastest runner of the evening , competed in the 18-39 division completed the 5K course in 20:56. The ladies masters ages 40-70 Carmen Barrack came in first at 24:23.


The FBMA run aims to annually provide an active, fun and, inclusive event that allows the Abu Dhabi ladies to be active and challenge themselves in an outdoor private environment. This success couldn’t have been reaches without the support and contribution of our partners the Abu Dhabi Cricket Club, Healthpoint Hospital, Nana Arabia, Dr. Feras Dental Clinic and the endless of our strategic partners Abu Dhabi Sports Council.
