Description
On World Cancer Day, Fatima bint Mubarak Ladies Sports Academy in collaboration with Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC), is organizing a discussion session followed by a walking march. The aim is to raise awareness about the importance of cancer prevention and early detection, and to support those affected and their families.
Objectives:
- Promote awareness about the importance of cancer prevention.
- Highlight the importance of early detection and its role in improving treatment outcomes.
- Show solidarity with individuals affected by cancer.
- Encourage physical activity as part of a healthy lifestyle.

- Speaker: Dr. Boja J. Khetan, Consultant Thoracic Surgeon, Director of Robotic Surgery at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City.
- All women of all ages and backgrounds are welcome to participate.
Notes:
- Please attend in comfortable clothing and sports shoes.
- The walk will begin at 5:45 PM after the discussion session, track length: 400 meters.
