Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Sports Academy concludes a year full of achievements, strengthening the position of women's sports.

Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Sports Academy has concluded an exceptional year marked by significant achievements and the organization of unique sporting events. The academy reaffirms its commitment to supporting and advancing women's sports in the UAE, in alignment with the visionary leadership's goals of empowering women and enhancing their role across all sectors.

In 2024, the Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Sports Academy organized several prominent sporting events, including the Fatima Bint Mubarak Academy Show Jumping Cup 2024 and the Women's Volleyball Cup, which brought together outstanding women's teams and showcased a high level of competition. Additionally, the Fatima Bint Mubarak Gulf Women’s Basketball Cup witnessed extensive participation from Gulf teams, highlighting the importance of fostering sports cooperation in the region. Other events included championships in sports such as badminton, contributing to the development of players' performance and enhancing competitiveness both locally and internationally.

In addition to its tournaments, the academy organized summer and winter camps, offering comprehensive sports programs aimed at developing girls’ skills and encouraging their participation in sports under the supervision of specialized coaches. As part of its efforts to elevate women’s status in sports, the academy continued to present the Fatima Bint Mubarak Women’s Sports Award, one of the most prominent awards dedicated to honoring women's sports achievements in the region and globally. The award has played a significant role in motivating female athletes and sports leaders to achieve excellence and innovation across various fields of sports.

The year also witnessed the academy signing strategic cooperation agreements with prominent sports entities, including the Jiu-Jitsu Federation, the Tennis Federation, and the National Olympic Academy. These partnerships aim to support the progress of women’s sports through the organization of specialized workshops and advanced training programs, contributing to honing athletes’ skills and preparing them for competition in regional and international events.

The achievements accomplished this year reflect the academy’s vision and its pivotal role in supporting and advancing women’s sports in the UAE and the region.
