Cooperation between “Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Sports Academy” and “Emirates Jiu-Jitsu”

The UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation signed a cooperation agreement with the Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Sports Academy, in a move aimed at enhancing the role of Emirati women and their leadership in the sports arena in general, and Jiu-Jitsu in particular.
The agreement stipulates the exchange of scientific and practical expertise in the sport of Jiu-Jitsu, contributing to its development and enhancing community participation, and unifying efforts between the two parties to spread the culture of Jiu-Jitsu among girls and women, and enhancing their participation in this sport at the local and international levels.
According to the statement issued today, Wednesday, by the Jiu-Jitsu Federation and the Academy, the signing ceremony took place at the headquarters of the Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Sports Academy, in the presence of Shamsa Al Hanaei, Member of the Board of Directors of the Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Sports Academy, and Fahad Ali Al Shamsi, Secretary-General of the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation.
According to the agreement, training courses will be organized for young women at the academy under the supervision of trainers from the federation, in addition to hosting training camps for the women’s national team at the academy’s headquarters.”
Fahad Ali Al Shamsi said: “We are proud of this cooperation that brings us together with the Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Sports Academy, and reflects our ongoing commitment to enhancing the role of women in the sport of Jiu-Jitsu. This agreement is in line with the federation’s efforts to spread the sport among girls and women of all ages and levels, which will enhance the country’s position as a global sports hub for this sport.”
For her part, Shamsa Al Hanaei stressed the importance of this partnership, which represents an important step towards achieving the academy’s vision to support and empower Emirati women in the field of sports.
She said that this partnership will contribute to developing the skills of girls and women in the sport of Jiu-Jitsu, as it will provide them with the appropriate environment for training and development, in cooperation with an elite group of specialized trainers, and will allow the academy to support the federation and cooperate with it in organizing tournaments and training camps that meet the ambitions of female Jiu-Jitsu players and push them to achieve excellence.
