The Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Sports Academy (FBMA) was yesterday honoured to sign an MoU Al Mubarakah Foundation, as both entities continue in their mission to support and develop the youth of the UAE through community initiatives.

The signing took place at Abu Dhabi Sports Council (ADSC) where H.E Amal Al Afifi from FBMA and H.E Shamsa Al Taie from Al Mubarakah Foundation, spoke about how they will support each other to reach their common goals. Both organisations will encourage their own audiences to participate in each other’s initiatives and events, as well as working together to boost and raise awareness of their already sterling social media platforms. Furthermore, FBMA will provide the foundation tickets to attend all FBMA’s Events international level.

Speaking at the signing, H.E Amal Al Afifi said: "The Fatima Bint Mubarak Academy is inspired by the directives of H.H. Sheikha Fatima Bint Hazaa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairwoman of the Academy and Abu Dhabi and Al Ain Ladies Clubs. Her Highness is keen to extend the cooperation between the Academy and other community institutions in support of the cultural renaissance witnessed by our country.

"The signing of this agreement is an opportunity to open new horizons for the various segments of the society to benefit from the fruits of this cooperation, which will include coordination and enhancement of efforts between the two sides in order to achieve the desired objectives of their respective messages. In this regard, I would also like to thank Her Highness Sheikha Mozah Bint Mubarak Al Nahyan, Board of Directors of the Foundation for blessed this initiative.”

H.E Shamsa Al Taie, also present at the signing from Al Mubarakah Foundation, said: “At Al Mubarakah Foundation, we seek to establish the pillars of security in the UAE and share the vision of the country's leadership in developing youth leadership and knowledge through effective community initiatives and partnerships within the context of Sheikha Mozah Bint Mubarak's vision of connecting generations to achieve inter-generational cohesion to serve the national path of the UAE."

She stressed that cooperation with the Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Sports Academy is not new. Therefore, the signing of the agreement is a natural development of fruitful cooperation between the two parties in order to achieve the strategic objectives of the Academy and the Foundation.
